Ensuring pupils’ safety at Date Palm Primary School is paramount, with rigorous protocols in place both on and off premises. The school meticulously implements registration at 8:20am and 12:45pm, pupil absence monitoring, secure entrance/exit procedures, and adheres to Off-site Educational Visits and Child Protection/Safeguarding Policies. If a child is missing, immediate alert is given to senior staff, followed by an exhaustive search of the school, register check, security breach assessment, and CCTV review. If the child remains missing, parents and police are notified, with police provided detailed child information and leading the coordinated search thereafter, with staff fully complying with their instructions.

Risk Assesment Policy
The school’s Risk Assessment Policy mandates regular evaluations of health and safety risks to pupils, staff, and infrastructure, performed by administrators, management, and teachers. Assessments, which are routine and activity-specific, analyze and mitigate hazards through various control measures, monitored by the Headteacher.
