Geography is taught alternately with History once a term with one-hour weekly lessons. In Geography children explore and investigate various places identifying both the physical and human features of locations. They are taught to name and locate some of the countries and cities of the world. Children also learn map skills and through the use of field trips are given opportunities to map out their local area.
